It Was a Good Weekend to be a Marksman!

Boys Soccer lost to Gibson Southern Saturday morning by a score of 3-1. Junior Goalkeeper Jake Noble made 9 saves. Sophomore Midfielder Zaiden Tribbie scored on the assist from Senior Wingback Zeke Zuelly. Boys Tennis team finished 2nd at the Crawford County tennis tourney this weekend led by wins by Andy Noble, JP Morgan and Jacob Hall at 1, 2, and 3 singles respectively. The Varsity volleyball team went 3-1 at the Corydon tournament this past weekend. Ollie Toothman had 15 kills, Haley Braun had 15 kills and 12 blocks. Aubrey Harth had 5 aces and 33 assists, and Bailey McWhirter had 33 digs. JV Volleyball girls won the Corydon Tournament by winning 8 straight sets! This now brings their record to 13-1. Way to go girls! The HS boys XC team finished in first place Saturday at the Heritage Hills invitational. Top 20 finishers were: Nate Hollinden 2nd, Ty Chestnut 7th, Brody Ford 12, Kasyn Ingle 17th & Reid Butler 20th. High School girls XC team finished in 2nd. They were led by Lexi Lain 6th, Lydia Hollinden 8th, Alyssa Lindauer 9th & Emery James 12th. The JH XC teams raced at Heritage Hills over the weekend also- Both girls and boys came in 11th. Placing for the boys were Nic Fulkerson, Liam Shively & Jack Weyer. Placing for the girls were Ashlynn Hedinger, Cynthia Parke & Kynslei Sanders.
